My name is Susan Stephen and Window Box Art & Design is my independent graphic design and art studio.
Let's get the credentials out of the way…
A graduate of the Alberta College of Art & Design (ACAD), I've also been fortunate enough to study at the San Francisco Art Institute and have achieved my Master Design certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
I am fully fluent in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (even Quark!) and know how to write XHTML Strict and CSS code from scratch.

I've been drawing and painting almost as long as I've been walking. I find much of my inspiration in nature, from my relationships with others and myself and... in just the beauty (or oddity) of ordinary objects, textures and colours.
The graphic design side of my business came into focus in 2008. Since then, I've produced a wide variety of creative and realistic design solutions for a wide variety of creative and realistic clients.
I used to think painting and graphic design could not exist peacefully together - but realized they're just different ways to visually share a message with others. I am ever grateful for the opportunity to make my living this way.
