Hi, I'm Susan — professional graphic designer & illustrator.

I've been drawing and painting almost as long as I've been breathing. A graduate of the Alberta College of Art (now Alberta University of the Arts) with a diploma in painting, I was also fortunate enough to study drawing and film at the San Francisco Art Institute. I then took a 15-year detour through Alberta's tourism industry, working in marketing and project management (designing on the side) and seeing much of our beautiful world.

In 2007 I returned to my hometown of Calgary, earned a Master Design certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) — and have been working and creating as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator ever since.

When I'm not at the computer, I can be found getting paint under my fingernails, digging up vegetables in the backyard or exploring new trails with a smiling dog.
