Pens, pencils and pixels … just some of the tools I'm proficient in using to convey a message, illustrate an idea or flesh out a story.
Mostly whimsical, sometimes technical.
My hand drawn illustrations tend towards the playful end of the scale… I've been drawing animals and nature-based themes for decades and love to let imagination take over.
I also create collage-based work, encouraging bits and pieces of everyday life to evolve and morph into something (hopefully) more beautiful than the sum of its' recycled parts.
On the digital side of things, I hold a Master Design certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and am fully fluent in Adobe's Creative Suite design software. Map-making in Illustrator is a specialty of mine.
